Editorial policy, sourcing and corrections

How we create country-specific dental-travel information and where its limits sit.

Who publishes the content

SmileBulgaria's editorial team researches cross-border dental-care decisions for patients considering treatment in Bulgaria. The service acts as a coordinator and intermediary, not as a dental clinic, insurer or public authority. Articles identify the organisation as author because no named clinician has yet signed off the launch library.

How localisation works

Each market is written around its own search language, healthcare administration, reimbursement boundary, patient concerns and advertising constraints. Native articles are not automatic translations of the UK pages. Machine-assisted drafting is followed by source verification and editorial review; native professional review remains required before the library is scaled.

Source hierarchy

For reimbursement and patient rights, we prioritise national public authorities, statutory insurers, EU National Contact Points and Your Europe. For clinical statements, we prefer recognised professional or peer-reviewed guidance. Commercial sources may inform market observations but do not decide medical suitability or reimbursement.

Medical and financial boundaries

Articles provide general information. They do not diagnose, prescribe treatment, guarantee an outcome or determine eligibility for public or private reimbursement. A qualified dentist must assess the patient, and the relevant authority or insurer must confirm any financial entitlement.

Review dates and corrections

Every article displays publication and review dates. Volatile administrative claims should be checked whenever the cited authority changes its guidance. Material corrections should update the article, its review date and the repository discovery log. To report an error, email Danchev.business@gmail.com with the page URL and the source supporting the correction.

Commercial relationship

SmileBulgaria may receive a commission from a partner clinic when a referred patient completes treatment. This does not change the patient's clinic price unless explicitly disclosed. Editorial comparisons are provider-neutral and do not rank a clinic simply because it is a commercial partner.
